Small Groups

While Sunday worship gatherings involve the whole church meeting together our small groups are opportunities during the week to meet in smaller groups in peoples homes.  Each small group is different but often there will be elements of our worship gatherings but on a smaller scale but instead of a sermon, it is a great opportunity to discuss a topic together and work through it based on everyone’s input.  Groups may choose to study a particular topic or book of the Bible or even work through a study.  Sometimes the groups will all work through the same material.

But it's not all work and no play.  Social events play an important part in people getting to know each other better and many small groups will get together for BBQs, bowling, walks and trips to the pub, the list is endless.  In getting to know one-another better, friendships are nurtured and enables us to support one-other more effectively when the going gets tough.
